Wound Care
We Are Cutting Edge
At Hyperbaric and Healing Center, we provide medical-grade hyperbaric oxygen therapy, administered by a team of highly trained physicians and clinical staff with expertise in hyperbaric care.
Our dedication to safety is evident through our use of FDA-approved, medical-grade hyperbaric chambers manufactured by Sechrist Industries in Anaheim, California. These chambers meet or exceed the most up-to-date regulatory safety standards and are designed with an acrylic cylinder to offer a comfortable, non-claustrophobic experience.
Before each patient session, our technicians conduct thorough safety inspections, and they remain present throughout the therapy to ensure your safety and comfort. With our compassionate and knowledgeable staff, you can feel confident that you’re receiving the highest level of care from start to finish. Your safety and well-being are always our top priority.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Benefits
BLOOD VESSELS
Diabetes primarily impacts small blood vessels. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has been shown to promote the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), which helps improve blood flow and reduce the risk of organ failure.
BLOOD SUGAR
Studies indicate that HBOT can effectively lower blood sugar levels by enhancing the sensitivity of cells to insulin and increasing glucose uptake by skeletal muscles. Additionally, recent findings suggest that HBOT may aid in the regeneration of pancreatic islets of Langerhans, potentially leading to increased insulin production.
WOUNDS & ULCERS
HBOT is frequently beneficial for treating conditions like osteomyelitis and cellulitis, while also helping to prevent systemic toxicity and long-term disability. In individuals with chronic diabetes, reduced circulation can hinder wound healing and lead to ulcerations. The enhanced oxygen delivery to tissues facilitated by HBOT can help prevent wounds and speed up the healing of diabetic ulcers.
SUCCESS STORY
Before & After Results
Our patient had been experiencing a foot ulcer for nearly two years. He underwent a skin graft and was recommended up to 20 sessions of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to aid in healing the wound. We administered 90-minute treatments at a pressure of 2.4 atmospheres, utilizing 100% oxygen. Remarkably, after just 3 weeks and 14 hyperbaric sessions, his healing progressed significantly, allowing us to discharge him from further treatment. His results are detailed below.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Oxygen is a nutrient that every cell in your body requires for optimal function. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a specialized non-invasive treatment for wounds, angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth), ad reducing swelling and inflammation, stem cell generation, anti-aging of DNA, and improved infection control.
The patient simply breathes 100% medical-grade oxygen in a chamber at increased atmospheric pressure. HBOT can increase the oxygen concentration in the body by up to 1,200% which aids the body to absorb oxygen in a greater amount and transports it to the blood cells, blood plasma, cerebral-spinal fluid, and other body fluids.
Sufficient oxygen content in the affected tissues promote healing and provide relief. HBOT utilizes oxygen, an abundant natural element, to promote the health and healing of the body.
